Cat Corner Café and Free Library

A café, a free library, and a coworking space, all under one roof. Coffee, books, and a slow afternoon in Bangkok.

Opening November 2026

What we're building

Books, learning, and vibes,
freely available to all.

Cat Corner Café and Free Library is exactly what the name says: a café and a free library, combined to be a community space. Inspired by the warmth of Southern American hospitality, we bring that same unhurried, slow-living spirit to Bangkok.

Browsing, reading, and borrowing are open to everyone, regardless of age, background, or whether you buy anything from the café. Four floors of a shophouse: coffee on the ground, the library above, a kids' corner of its own, and cat-inspired décor tucked into every shelf.

The Café

Specialty coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and a small bakery and light-food menu.

The Free Library

A lending library for children, teenagers, and adults. Friends of the library can get perks such as discounts on drinks and workshops, and exclusive merch.

Workshops & Events

Reading club, arts and crafts, language exchange, story hour, skill sharing, and many more!

Coworking

Quiet desks, reliable wifi, and coffee on tap for anyone who wants to get work done somewhere that feels like a second home.

Who we are

A small founding team

How to help

A free library needs a community

Every book on our shelves is one someone can borrow without paying for it. Here is how you can be part of that.
